Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

City of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. County seat, and the largest city of Luzerne County. Population of 41,498 as of the 2010 Census.

The city was named for John Wilkes and Isaac Barré, defenders of the colonies in England. Pronounced "Wilks Berry".
